¹ And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.² Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.³ Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.⁴ And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,⁵ Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,⁶ And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,⁷ And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,⁸ And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,⁹ And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.¹⁰ And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;¹¹ The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,¹² The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,¹³ The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,¹⁴ The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,¹⁵ And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,¹⁶ The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,¹⁷ The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,¹⁸ The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,¹⁹ The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.²⁰ And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.²¹ And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.²² And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.²³ And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.²⁴ Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD's offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.²⁵ And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.²⁶ And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.²⁷ And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;²⁸ And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.²⁹ The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.³⁰ And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;³¹ And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;³² And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,³³ And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.³⁴ And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.³⁵ Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

¹ IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:² To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,³ Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.⁴ For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.⁵ O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.⁶ A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.⁷ When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:⁸ But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.⁹ For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.¹⁰ But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.¹¹ Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.¹³ Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;¹⁵ To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

¹ The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.² Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.³ The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.⁴ The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.⁵ Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.² Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.³ But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.⁴ For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.⁵ Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.⁶ And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.⁷ For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?⁸ Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.⁹ For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.¹⁰ We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.¹¹ Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;¹² And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:¹³ Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.¹⁴ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.¹⁵ For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.¹⁶ Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.¹⁷ For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.¹⁸ Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.¹⁹ But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.²⁰ For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.²¹ What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

¹ It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.² And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.³ For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,⁴ In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,⁵ To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.⁶ Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?⁷ Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:⁸ Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.⁹ I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:¹⁰ Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.¹¹ But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.¹² For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?¹³ But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
