Leviticus 8

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;3 And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.5 And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.7 And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.8 And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.9 And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.13 And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.14 And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.15 And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.17 But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.18 And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.19 And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.21 And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.23 And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.25 And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:27 And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.29 And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as the LORD commanded Moses.30 And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.31 And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.32 And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.34 As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.35 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

Psalms 107

1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.39 Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

1st Corinthians 16

1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.14 Let all your things be done with charity.15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.18 For they have refreshed my spirit and your's: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
